(b) There shall be no more than a 60-minute lapse
between safety checks

several checks were missed or over the 60-minute
requirement.

reviewed at regular defined intervals by a supervisor
or facility manager, including methods of mitigating

Currently, there is no supervisor documented review
of safety checks in policy or being conducted.
(c) fire prevention inspections as required by Health
and Safety Code Section 13146.1(a) and (b) which
requires inspections at least once every two years;

The agency was unable to provide documentation of
a State Fire Marshal or local fire authority inspection
of the temporary holding facility conducted in the last
two years.

Technical Assistance Provided
BSCC staff provided an outbrief with the facility commander and Captain Smith. Items of non-
compliance were identified, and possible corrective actions discussed.
Additional Information
The facility was clean and appeared well maintained.
