Temple Street Los Angeles, CA 90012 2025-2026 UNANNOUNCED INSPECTION, PENAL CODE SECTION 6031, WELFARE & INSTITUTIONS CODE SECTION 209, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DETENTION FACILITY Dear Sheriff Luna, An Unannounced Inspection of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office was completed for the following facility on Wednesday, April 23, 2025: FACILITY NAME BSCC # FACILITY TYPE LA Century Regional Detention Facility 1445 II This inspection was conducted pursuant to Penal Code Section 6031 to determine compliance with the Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities as outlined in Titles 15 and 24, California Code of Regulations. INSPECTION RESULTS The focus of the Unannounced Inspection was to evaluate compliance with the following Title 15 regulations: §1265: Issue of Personal Care Items §1280: Facility Sanitation, Safety, and Maintenance We identified no items of noncompliance with Title 15 Minimum Standards.
