Section Description Currently four of the agencies eight Jailer/Dispatcher positions are unfilled. This shortage has resulted in § 1027. Number of Personnel missed safety checks when the dispatcher was not immediately available to perform their jailer duties. The above mentioned staffing shortage also results in a potential conflict of duties in responding to an § 1027. Number of Personnel emergency within the jail. While the dispatcher/jailer positions are all currently filled by female staff, the conflict of duties may keep § 1027. Number of Personnel them from being immediately available to female arrestees. Safety checks were missed or late due to the overlapping responsibilities of the Jailer/Dispatcher § 1027.5 Safety Checks position. Policies regarding sobering cells are found in three separate sections of two different policy manuals. § 1056.
