A pre-inspection briefing was held on Friday, June 28, 2024, and the following facility was inspected on September 11, 2024: FACILITY NAME BSCC # FACILITY TYPE Mono County Jail 3250 II This inspection was conducted pursuant to Penal Code Section 6031 to determine compliance with the Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities as outlined in Titles 15 and 24, California Code of Regulations. INSPECTION RESULTS We identified the following items of noncompliance with Title 15 Minimum Standards. § 1027.5 Safety Checks: Safety checks were conducted in excess of 60 minutes from the previous safety check. § 1027.5 Safety Checks: Staff documented safety checks in exact 60-minute intervals. § 1046.
