YES DATE CAP DUE TO BSCC: 5/6/2026 Current Items of Noncompliance Title 15. Section Description BSCC staff was advised no staff member presently § 1024. Court Holding and Temporary has completed this required training in the past two Holding Facility Training years. Incomplete policy (a) Safety checks will determine the safety and well-being of individuals and shall be § 1027.5 Safety Checks conducted at least hourly through direct visual observation of all people held and housed in the facility. Incomplete policy § 1027.5 Safety Checks (d) Safety checks shall occur at random or varied intervals. Incomplete policy (f) A documented process by which safety checks are reviewed at regular defined § 1027.5 Safety Checks intervals by a supervisor or facility manager, including methods of mitigating patterns of inconsistent documentation, or untimely completion of, safety checks. Section Description development of a corrective action plan to address deficiencies identified in the administrative review. Incomplete policy (c) fire prevention inspections as required by Health and Safety Code Section 13146.1(a) § 1032. Fire Suppression Preplanning and (b) which requires inspections at least once every two years; No biennial fire inspection presented. The sobering cell described in Title 24, Part 2, Section 1231.2.4, shall be used for temporary holding of incarcerated people who are a threat to their own safety or the safety of others due to their state of § 1056. Use of Sobering Cell intoxication. Facility did not provide explanation for those placed into the sobering cell. Incomplete policy (4) Upon confirmation of an incarcerated person’s pregnancy, they shall be advised, § 1058.5. Restraints and Pregnant Inmates orally or in writing, of the standards and policies governing incarcerated pregnant people. Incomplete policy (b) one mattress cover or one sheet; (d) one blanket or more depending up on climatic conditions. § 1270. Standard Bedding and Linen Issue Policy and procedure shall require that items (a), (b), and (d) above be provided prior to the first night in the facility.
