San Diego, CA 92123 2023-2024 CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN COMPLETION Dear Sheriff Martinez: As a result of the Targeted Inspection of the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility conducted on August 2, 2024, the Incarcerated Person Death policy was found to be noncompliant and did not cover all areas of Title 15, Regulation 1046 Death in Custody. On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) staff received a copy of the newly revised M.7 Incarcerated Person Death policy. This revised policy now complies with the criteria established in Title 15. Thank you for completing the Corrective Action Plan (CAP). The remaining facilities that have not yet been subject to a Targeted Inspection will be found compliant with this regulation and your CAP is considered completed.
