A pre-inspection briefing was conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, and the targeted inspection was completed on February 22, 2024. FACILITY NAME BSCC # FACILITY TYPE John J. Zunino Facility 4710 II San Joaquin County Honor Farm 4720 II The inspection was performed pursuant to Penal Code Section 6031 to determine compliance with the Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities as outlined in Titles 15 and 24, California Code of Regulations. In addition, Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) staff conducted compliance monitoring pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 209(f) and the federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA). In addition to the inspections by the BSCC, inspections are also required annually by the County Health Officer and biennially by the State Fire Marshal or an authorized representative (Health and Safety Code Sections 101045 and 13146.1). The results of those inspections are considered a part of this report. INSPECTION RESULTS We identified no items of noncompliance with Title 15 Minimum Standards.
