We toured the Redding Courthouse holding areas and evaluated the completed construction. The purpose of the visit was to review the court holding facility for the pre-opening inspection and compliance with Title 24, Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities. At this time, BSCC staff determined there were no items of noncompliance with Title 24, Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities. BSCC staff will conduct a Comprehensive Inspection in 2024. I have attached the Living Area Space Evaluation (LASE) and Physical Plant Evaluation (PHY) to this letter for your records.
