A pre- inspection briefing was held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, and the following facilities were inspected on Tuesday, July 16, 2024: FACILITY NAME BSCC # FACILITY TYPE South County Detention Facility 5842 II Pre-Trial Facility 5845 II Bob Wiley Detention Facility 5850 II These inspections were conducted pursuant to Penal Code Section 6031 to determine compliance with the Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities as outlined in Titles 15 and 24, California Code of Regulations. INSPECTION RESULTS We identified no items of noncompliance with Title 15 Minimum Standards. Refer to the attached Procedures Checklist for detailed information. No items of noncompliance were identified with Title 24 Minimum Standards. Refer to the Physical Plant Evaluation and Living Area Space Evaluation (LASE) attachments for information related to Rated Capacity. During this inspection, the LASEs for each facility were reviewed to confirm each facility’s rated capacity. A discrepancy was corrected on the South County Detention Facility’s rated capacity. Its capacity decreased from 519 to 510. The other facilities remained the same. The system capacity is rated at 1,589.
