Section Description On the date of inspection, triple bunks were located and being utilized throughout the main jail facility. 1231.3.5 Beds Triple bunks are not supported by the sqare footage of the housing unit dormatories or individual double cells located in the main jail. On the date of inspection, many cells at the main jail 1231.3.11 Table/seat were absent desks and seats that are required inside of the double cells. Technical Assistance Provided On the date of inspection, several of the double occupancy cells at the main jail were occupied by more than two persons. When this occurs, the agency is noncompliant for overcrowding in those cells. Cell assignment and occupany of double cells will be addressed by way of in-service staff training. Additional Information
