Th Plumas Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider annexation of the territory served by Chester Public Utility District (CPUD) by Peninsula Fire Protection District (PFPD) and divestiture of fire and emergency medical services by CPUD. The Commission will consider oral and written testimony by any interested person or affected agency as well as the report of the Executive Officer. Persons may attend and be heard at the time and place of the hearing. Public comment at the hearing will only be accepted in person at the meeting location or in writing prior to the public hearing. If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Plumas Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. The Executive Officer’s report will be available for review at the Plumas County Planning Department located at 555 Main St. Quincy, California, and as practicable, the LAFCO website www.plumaslafco.org five (5) days prior to the hearing.
