Th Plumas Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a public hearing to first consider adoption of the Municipal Service Review of Crescent Mills Fire Protection District (CMFPD) and Indian Vally Community Services District (IVCSD) and consider initiating the consolidation of CMFPD with IVCSD. This action will be to consider initiation of the consolidation process only. Should it be approved, the question of consolidation will be considered at a subsequent LAFCo meeting. The Commission will consider oral and written testimony by any interested person or affected agency as well as the report of the Executive Officer. Persons may attend and be heard at the time and place of the hearing. If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Plumas Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. The Executive Officer’s report will be available for review at the Plumas County Planning Department located at 555 Main St. Quincy, California, and as practicable, the LAFCO website www.plumaslafco.org five (5) days prior to the hearing.
