The Launchpad Menu
The Launchpad Menu provides menu options to access additional system functions.
The Launchpad Menu provides further menu options:

PRINT VOTER LIST— View a running log of all voterschecked-in.

CHECK-IN TOTALS– View running totals of differentballot styles issued throughout the day

REPORT INCIDENT– Report incident(s) and receive troubleshootinginformation.
❹ REQUEST ASSISTANCE– Use this feature to completethe request assistance process for a voter who has
already been checked-in.

HELP GUIDES– View Informational guides and videoson Election Day.
❻ IMPORTANT PHONE NUMBERS– Gives access to a directoryof phone numbers for election officers and
voting equipment assistance.

VOTING LOCATION CLOCK-IN– Provides Poll Workers theability to clock in and out.

Searching for a Voter
Manual Voter Search
To search for a voter using a
valid ID type, touch the green
MANUAL VOTER SEARCH
button on the Launchpad
screen.
Using information provided by
the voter, use one of the five
available search options to
search for the voter’s record.
Enter the voter’s information
into the search fields chosen
by using the on-screen
keyboard and touch the green
SEARCHbutton to continue.

If only one voter matches the
search criteria, the Voter
Identification screen will appear
automatically. Continue
checking in your voter.
If more than one voter matches
the search criteria, your screen
will look like the one on the left
with a list of all possible
matches. Touch the correct
voter from the list and then
touch the greenCONTINUE
button.
Once you have selected the
voter, touchGET VOTER
SIGNATUREto begin the
check-in process.

To search for a voter’s
assigned voting location,
touch the orangeLOCATION
LOOKUPbutton on the
Launchpad screen.
Type in the voter’s address,
then tapSEARCH.
The voter’s assigned voting
location will be displayed,
along with a map of the poll’s
location.

Regular Voter Check-In
If the voter is eligible to vote via a regular ballot,

the screen will display a green “Voter is eligible
to vote” message.
SelectGET VOTER SIGNATUREto continue.
2 TheVoter Signaturescreen will appear. Tilt the
Touchpad screen toward the voter and have
them sign with the provided stylus. Once they
have signed, they will need to select theDONE
button.
Flip the screen back toward you and verify that

Conditional Voter Registration
If a voter cannot be found in the ePollbook, you
will process them as a CVR. A Conditional Voter
Registration (CVR) can be initiated by pressing
1 thePROCESS CVRbutton on theFind Voter
screen.
If a voter cannot be found in the ePollbook and
would still like to vote, you will need to process
them as aCVRvoter.

Enter the voter’snameanddate of birthin the
provided fields then selectCONTINUE.
Enter the voter’shouse numberandstreet
3 namein the provided fields, then press the
SEARCHbutton.
Select the voter’s address then press
CONTINUE.

number, selectYESto add this information.
Otherwise, selectNOto continue.
The screen will flip, allowing the voter to
verify that their information is correct. Tilt the
screen toward them.

If the information is correct, have the voter
selectCONTINUE.
If it is incorrect, have voter selectNOT
CORRECT. This will allow you to make
changes as needed.
6 Once the voter has verified that their
information is correct, tilt the screen back
toward you and selectCONTINUE.

created, you will be able to process them as a
CVRvoter. SelectPROCESS CVRto continue.

Residential Address Change (SB207)
If a voter would like to update their address

the check-in process.

Invalid Address
If a voter provides an invalid address, or one
that cannot be found, but insists that it is
correct, you can manually enter it while
1 updating their information and process them as
aCVRvoter.
After two searches have been performed, an
ADDRESS NOT FOUNDbutton will appear.
Select this button to begin updating the voter’s
address.

Enter the address provided by the voter then
selectCONTINUE.
Use thePrecincting Applicationto determine
3 the precinct the voter should be assigned to,
then select it from thePrecinctdropdown. This
will assign the voter aSequence #.
Once you have done this, selectCONTINUE.

Select the precinct from the Select Precinct
dropdown. Then, touchCONTINUE.

Confirm the precinct and add a split if
applicable. TapCONTINUEto proceed.

Confirm that all necessary fields have been
updated then pressCONTINUE.
The screen will flip, allowing the voter to verify
that their updated address is correct. Tilt the
screen toward them.

If the updated address is correct, have the voter
selectCORRECT.
If it is incorrect, have voter selectNOT
CORRECT. This will allow you to make changes
as needed.

address, tilt the screen back toward you and
selectCONTINUE.

First Time Federal Voter – ID Provided
If a voter is flagged as a First Time Federal

Voter, they will need to produce a valid form of
photo ID to vote regularly on Election Day.
Select theRECORD IDbutton to continue.

If a voter is flagged as a First Time Federal

Spoiling a Ballot

To spoil a ballot, first search the voter. Under
the More Options menu, selectSpoil Ballot.
The Spoil Ballot pop-up will appear. Select a
reason for spoil, then select whether you will
be issuing a replacement ballot.

If you are NOT issuing a replacement ballot, a
confirm spoil pop-up will appear. Confirm spoil.
Then, the ballot will be spoiled.
If you are issuing a replacement ballot,
proceed to step three.

SelectYESto confirm that you would like to
spoil the ballot.

Closing the Election
Once the election has ended, it is time to close
